We like to be creative with the products we make, and welcome your ideas. Wherever there's a need for a rope with a comfortable hand grip, or something specific to your Bell Tower mainenance, we can probably make it. The following is an illustrative list of the accessories and miscellaneous products we have made or plan to make.

  • The ropes can be in 1 of 12 yarn colours, while the sallies are in 3 from 54 wool colours. That's nearly 300,000 unique combinations.

Small Brass Bell with Maypole Sally.

Ideal for ringing last orders, used as a door bell or just for decoration.

The rope and Sally are made on the Maypole Ropewalk in the heart of the Kent Countryside using:

• Merino wool for the Sally in a choice of 3 from 54 colours (as per bell rope sally).
• Soft polyester yarn for the rope. Choice of 12 colours.

Timber Sconce

A timber sconce, to decoratively wall mount the Small Brass Bell with Maypole Sally.

• Made from a selection of hard and soft woods. Oak/Ash/Meranti/Redwood. Prices vary with timber market. (Typically £30- £60)
• Engraved plaque. Price on request (usually between £25 and £50).

Maypole Ropes Dog / Cat / Pet Lead

The Maypole Pet Leads are made on the Maypole Ropewalk in the heart of the Kent Countryside using:

• Merino wool for the handle in a choice of 3 from 54 colours (as per bell rope sally). Try our interactive sally colour picker.
• Soft polyester yarn for the rope standard diameter 7.6mm (choice of 12 colours), making a total of nearly .3 million wool/yarn colour combinations.
• A choice of 3 standard lead lengths (90cm/36″, 105cm/42″, 120cm/48″), but in practice the rope can be cut to any specific length.
• A choice of three clasps:- Anodised Black Swivel Frog clasp; Anodised Grey Fixed Frog Clasp; Steel Sprung Clasp.

Maypole Light Pull

The Maypole Light Pulls are made on the Maypole Ropewalk in the heart of the Kent Countryside using:

• 15cm/6″ Merino wool Sally (handle) in a choice of 3 from 54 colours (as per bell rope sally). Try our interactive sally colour picker.
• Soft polyester yarn for the rope standard diameter 6mm (choice of 12 colours), making a total of nearly .3 million unique wool/yarn colour combinations.
• Finished at the bottom with either ‘tucked tail end’ as used on church bell ropes, or 'knot and tassel'.
• Standard overall length is suitable for a ceiling height of 2440mm / 8′ (other lengths are available).

• The top is finished with a whipped eye. Attaching to the existing ceiling switch – remove the lower string and push the small plastic cleat through the eye.
